I already knew that as soon as I saw the unmistakable black and white palette and the high-necks, this little number had to be Karl Lagerfeld’s piece.  Karl is actually one of the few designers that I actually actively follow and his pieces that were shown at Paris Fashion week were incredible.  Overall, his collection a breath of fresh air and totally different than most of his collections.

There were a ton of different pieces and he had everything from playsuits that took on some structured shapes, some high-waisted shorts as well as some cropped and very tailored jackets.  Female dandy is the trend that Karl was following and I think that he did it beautifully.

The female dandy trend to me is something so beautiful and awesome I really hope that it leaks over to 2011!
