I’m sorry, ladies.  You read that title correctly — but I am afraid that it gets much, much worse than that.  The fact of the matter  is that overalls have come back.

Let us all have a moment to mourn this fact.

I don’t really know how to explain it.  I mean, how does this happen?  This is like the return of tie dye and shoulder pads, except at least those were somewhat stylish in their days.  Not in retrospect, but at the time.

But overalls?  When are overalls ever attractive?  I ask this with some degree of authority.  I used to wear them — and knew I looked like I was a pumpkin in denim even during the fact.

Have any of you ever had a positive experience with wearing overalls?
