This Lanvin F/W ‘08-’09 show was probably the most anticipated show of all in Paris for the FW’s simply because Lanvin is one of those labels that never seems to miss. Always striving for perfection, always trying new things and always coming up with new contemporary chic.

The pundits enjoyed this gorgeous show and comments all over the interweb are “this Lanvin Fall/Winter 2008-2009 collection is as close to perfection as fashion has been for quite a few years”.

For once — I agree with the rest of the fashion world.

Vera Wang Resort 2009

I like Vera Wang a lot, I really do. I loved her Vera Wang Lingerie, I love her wedding dresses and I love her philosophy… But I’m not so happy with this somewhat strange-fitting resort collection.

My message to Vera Wang: focus! Drop the moneymaking resort collection and focus on the more money-making bridal stuff. THE LOVE WILL RETURN!

Straight from Sao Paolo fashion week — found it thanks to Catwalkreport.net’s post titled Ellus Fashion Fall/Winter 2008-2009. I’m not as impressed at they are, but I’m still giving it an ARAD-Rating of 6.5/10.

Fur Fur show from Tokyo, Japan. A show filled with fur and I’m liking it a lot.

I had a tough time rating this one as it’s not easily put into a category, right? Oh well, decided on a 7.5/10 ARAD-RATING.

Burberry Mens Spring/Summer 2008

I’m usually not one to be taking the easy way out pimping a youtube video on the blog for an easy quick update but as I’m not an expert in the Mens fashion department I’m happy that there are blogs like Fashion Prince that are and that do help me find a runway that stands out every once in a while.

Anyway, this Burberry Mens Spring/Summer 2008 runway is simple but nice, very much one that can do (and probably is doing) well in the stores too — so I’m a fan. Enjoy the show — it is in FULL COLOR!

Pussycat Dolls “shhh Lingerie”, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Yes, the Pussycat Dolls Lingerie. I’m not kidding, you can now wear signature semi-prostitution-women lingerie and feel good about yourself! (sorry, but I’m not the biggest Pussycat Dolls fan, haha)

Anyway, the label is called shhh lingerie (yougottabekiddingme), and the pieces weren’t too bad to be honest. Basic, upbeat, but ok. Found picks on The Lingerie Post and Luxury Lingerie Shopping.

Txell Miras Fall/Winter 2008-2009; Barcelona

Txell Miras is rumoured to have stopped doing Spring/Summer collections. From now on, she’ll be focussing on the FW’s, and if these are up to the standards of this breathtakingly simple and elegant collection, I’m not one to complain.

The collection is called “The Big Déjà Vu”, but honestly — these look really fresh and hot. She’s NOT regurgitating.

Kris Van Assche Dior Homme Fall/Winter 08-09
